Aunty Iris
In this world of hardships and moral corruption, we all need a shining light.
Someone who will instruct us on how to make the best use of our talents,
a teacher who will help us make sense of this puzzling world in which we live.
Aunty Iris was this rat.
Well known by the members of the UK Fancy-rats.co.uk forum,
Aunty Iris quickly grew to legendary status. Her lessons helped
lift our days as she gently and firmly showed us how to bake cakes,
care for your horse, babysit and choose a pet. Many of her devoted
fans, myself included, are surprised to look back and see she taught
us only four lessons - it seems as though she taught us so much more.
With her unique brand of soft instruction and clear moral guidance,
Aunty Iris was truly beloved by all who knew of her. Sadly, she
has crossed the bridge to join the great big party in the sky, but her
lessons live on in the hearts of those who read them with an understanding
nod, a smile, and a desperate desire to give her a great big hug.
And whilst Aunty Iris is missed by all, you too can enjoy her adventures
