Taken on my mobile phone.  A few months before he died, Derfel had an operation to remove a lump (which turned out to be non - threatening) and had to be stopped from chewing his stitches.  The vet was very proud of his cone, but Derfel had to be spoon-fed mashed potato for a week as he couldn't eat while wearing it.  It's a shame that this is his last photo.
