Welcome to The Vermin-Realm.Welcome, one and all, to the Vermin-Realm, my rapidly expanding corner on teh interweb. This site is home to Naughty Little Riff's Blog, McClane's Blog, Piglet's Blog and the original LOLRATS macro site. If you like your rat pictures captioned and mispelled, be sure to check this out!
As well as this, here you can find a comprehensive list of rat-related sites on the internet, information on keeping rats as pets and tribute pages to my own rats and mice (past and present). You can also find a copy of the book I wrote many years ago, about a girl in Medieval England and her pet rat. Just don't judge me on it!
As much of this site is still under construction, please check this page for updates. You can track the updates of each blog, as well as 'The Plague Girl' in the grid below - underneath this, you will be able to see more generalised updates. Be sure to check back often.
The name 'Vermin-Realm' is meant in a heavily ironic sense and is not intended to offend. Anyone who spends a few seconds clicking through the site will be able to see how rodent-obsessed I am. The name was first created as the residence of Smurt, Snitch and Dervel (www.rodentrebels.com) and has been something I've stuck with ever since. I must admit I do call my pets 'Vermin' but, rather than intending this to play to rodent-prejudices I'm actually trying to reclaim the word and turn it into something cute and fluffy. Mmmm, yummy Vermin!

A new section has now been added - the Rat Picture Gallery which will be theme-based. So far the yawning page has been added, but more pictures will be added soon so you can have a little chuckle or an 'awwwww' at some cute and funny rat pics. Contributions will be welcomed!

Gumby, Piglet, Tinker and Effie now have pages in their respective sections. I'm changing the way I have the pictures set out - it's taking far too much pointless time having them in pop-ups, so from now on there will just be larger thumbnail pics that aren't clickable. For those that have already been done, however, I don't plan on changing the format.
Watch out for new feature coming soon, Ratmoods.

I have been fiddling around with the layout of the site again, fed up of the page size only being half the size of the screen. Pleased with how it looks so far but, having skipped through some of the pages, I know there are plenty of bugs to fix - please bear with me!

Lots of little things done this week -
- Stitch now has her own page.
-All of my past rats now have a linked page - although most don't have content.
-A few more links on my links page.
-I've added a favicon! Wooot! I am so impressed with myself! You might not be able to see it in Explorer, but it's the little logo of Toga.
-Have fixed some graphic issues - basically, the contact links on each page. Well, I've fixed most of them!
I've added another paragraph to this homepage.
-Also, the shops are getting a bit of a revamp at the moment but will be back up and running with a new range of designs. Watch this space!
